About the Lodge
Impeesa Lodge was consecrated on
Saturday 6th October
1990 at the Masonic Hall, Shrubbery Road, Downend by the Provincial Grand
Master for Gloucestershire together with Officers of the Provincial Grand
Lodge.
The lodge was formed by Scout 'Wood
Badge' holders who wished the lodge to be for the association of members of
the Scout Movement who are, or were, Commissioners, Scouters, Instructors,
Administrators or Advisers to the Movement.
NB - there is no longer a need for a prospective member to have the Wood Badge.
Impeesa Lodge is a member of the
Kindred Lodges Association, some 39 lodges with links to the Youth
Services. The Kindred Lodges Association hold fraternal meetings in the Spring
and Autumn each year and Lodges take their turn to act as hosts.
